Dear Lakeridge Middle School Students,

We will be conducting a lockdown drill with assistance from LOPD on

Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

Due to the intensity of this type of drill, coupled with other traumatic events you may have experienced throughout your life, a standard lockdown drill could induce high levels of stress and anxiety. If you believe participation in this drill would personally be too traumatic to undergo at this time, Lakeridge Middle School will be hosting a seminar-style training that will teach the same objectives as the actual drill in a far less intense format. If you feel you would benefit from this alternate drill setting, please fill out the following form.
