Thank you for your interest in the Shadow A Math Major Day Spotlight Course. The spotlight course this year will be Professor Stankova's Math 53 (Multivariable Calculus) and you have the option to attend either the 12-1pm lecture or the 1-2pm lecture on April 30th. We can only invite up to 50 students to attend the lecture due to zoom capacity restrictions, so please only fill out this form if you plan to attend. We will send out zoom information by 8am on Friday, April 30th.

All Spring 2021 Math 53 lectures are recorded via zoom. By turning your video on and/or unmuting yourself during the zoom recording, you are providing us with consent to record your video and/or audio. If you don't feel comfortable with being recorded, it is your responsibility to turn off your video and mute your audio during the lecture.

All Math 53 visitors need to abide by the following rules in order to attend the lecture. Note: in order to attend the lecture you must check all of the boxes below. *

A few rules that the visitors need to follow in lecture: (1) visitors must mute themselves (2) visitors must raise a (virtual) hand in the participants panel if they want to answer a question (3) speak up only when Professor Stankova asks them to. (4) visitors may leave comments or ask questions in the zoom chat, but comments/questions must be relevant to the current material covered in lecture. (5) it is OK to answer the polls that will be posed during lecture; however, visitors are NOT allowed to ask questions or comment on anything related to the poll questions in the chat before the poll closes.

I will keep myself muted throughout the zoom lecture.

If I have a questions, I will raise my virtual hand in the participants panel and I will wait to be called on.

I will only unmute myself and speak when Professor Stankova (or course staff) asks me to.

If I decide to use the zoom chat feature, I will only leave comments and/or questions that are relevant to the current material covered in lecture.

I understand that I am allowed to answer poll questions; however, I am NOT allowed to ask questions or comment on anything related to the poll questions before the poll closes
