We are very excited to announce a brand new Singing Challenge open to all Cheshire East primary schools! We would like you to choose any song from one of the last 3 Vocal Booklets, entitled 'The Cheshire East Primary Schools Singing Support Pack 1', 'Support Pack 2' and most recently the 'Singing Together' pack, sent to you by the Love Music Trust.

Once you have rehearsed, perfected and performed your chosen song, please record the finished product as a video and send it to us at LMT. Details of how to send your recording will be provided once you have signed up your school’s entry.

Shirley Court of ‘Singing Sherlock’ fame will be our esteemed judge and will be looking for the following criteria;
- Stage presence - i.e. smiley faces, good posture etc.
- Communication of the words
- Clear diction
- Appropriate use of dynamics
- Good tuning
- Effective planning of breathing, good phrasing, singing smoothly through notes etc.

The deadline for entries is Friday 18th June and the winners will be invited to sing at our Summer Celebration concert on Sunday 4th July at Gawsworth Hall. Good luck everyone!
