Thank you for your interest in joining the Tranzac Board of Directors!

The Tranzac Board is a working board and we value the skills, perspectives, and contributions of each and every member. The Club wouldn't be a success without its board members!

Please complete this application form to tell us about yourself and why you're interested in joining the Tranzac board.

All info will be kept confidential and used only by the board for the purposes of reviewing applications and extending invitations to join the Board of Directors.

About the Tranzac Board:

The Tranzac board is a working board. As such, it can be expected that at times we need to be “boots on the ground.”

Working boards such as the Tranzac often require a time commitment of 5-8 hours per month and members can take on many activities in addition to monthly meetings and policy oversight. In the case of the Tranzac at present, grant writing, legal compliance, and building renovation are among the activities board members find themselves engaged in. Board members regularly support one another in these roles and engage with the greater community when possible. Board members are expected to spend 5-8 hours per month attending Board and Committee meetings (depending on the pieces of work you take on), reviewing materials, working on key deliverables (grant applications, COVID-19 plans etc...).

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking to add people with legal and grant writing experience to add these valuable skills to our team.

We strongly encourage applications by people from equity seeking groups including (but not limited to!) Black, Indigenous and communities of colour; people with disabilities; LGBTQ  and diverse gender identity communities; and others who may contribute to the further diversification of ideas.
