Until March 15th, the Oregon Country Fair (OCF) is seeking applications for art installations in Xavanadu, a three-acre site with grass, open meadows and clusters of heritage trees that showcases art, movement, food, crafts, workshops, and other activities.
In 2025, OCF celebrates over 50 years of dedication, generosity, and support of crafts people, artists, entertainers, staff, volunteers and our patrons. We are a non-profit organization creating inclusive celebratory community experiences and we invite you to join our collaborative effort! We offer compensation, expense stipends and camping on-site during the three-day event. Artist General expectations are to be present Wednesday (or Tuesday) through Monday morning.
We seek art that is creative, inspiring, meaningful, fun, beautiful, interactive, celebrates nature, and creates places and spaces. Interactive, kid-friendly installations are a plus! The Fair is only open to the public during daylight hours, so our focus is on art that shows well during the day. Nighttime function is not critical.
There are several main options:
•
Apply to bring a piece of art that you have already created. Xavanadu affords opportunities for several large pieces of art to place in prominent locations.
•
Apply to create some art especially for the Fair.
If you have a proposal that does not fit neatly into one of the above, please let us know.
Please fill out the following application. The Xavanadu Art Team will review all applications and may follow up to obtain more information. The Xavanadu Art Team plans to contact finalists in April and make final decisions by early May.
