Turkish-German Youth Bridge Model Project 2020

‘Nature Connected Youth’ is a youth exchange project that will take place online among young people aged 18 to 27 years old from Germany and Turkey, aiming to develop intercultural learning and dialogue by using nature observation and art.

Dates: 19/10/2020 – 28/10/2020
Number of Working Days: 10
Participants : 10 young people and 2 youth worker per country

Objectives:
To develop intercultural learning and dialogue
To build nature observation skills.
To increase inherent capacity to use senses & mind in a natural context.
to engage with the environment around participants.
To slow down and focus on awareness to the nature
To increase the curiosity regarding to the nature

During the project, basic nature concepts, necessary information about spending quality time in nature will be shared with the young people. Here, nature can be flowerpot at home, as well as cloud piles observed from the balcony or plants and animals that will be encountered during a walk in the forest. Young people who discover the colors and sounds in nature will be encouraged to create the art of nature together.
