Go For Broke National Education Center (GFBNEC) is excited to continue its school programs offerings. Our programs are designed to be interactive and explore the lives of Japanese Americans during World War II and its relevance in our lives today. Please be sure to reference the detailed description and appropriate grade levels for each program on our website before completing this form.
All school visits will include one hour in our Defining Courage exhibition. Certain programs have been prearranged on specific dates that work for both organizations. If you are unable to make one of the provided dates, there is space to propose a date that will work for you. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule, though we cannot promise availability. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and patience as we continue to grow our partnerships and availability.
GFBNEC and participating organization partners only have the capacity to accommodate 60 students per day. If your group is larger than 60, please consider two separate dates.
GFBNEC is also able to offer free transportation grants to help subsidize the cost of buses to Title 1 schools and schools demonstrating financial need. If your school qualifies, please complete the second half of this form.
Accessibility: Go For Broke National Education Center is physically accessible through ramps and an elevator. If you choose a workshop with Kizuna or Vigilant Love, please note those will take place at the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center (JACCC) located 0.3 miles away. Students are required to walk between GFBNEC and JACCC.
