Please fill in the following information if you are a resident of Boonton and you are seeking a spot in our full-day preschool program. Please submit a separate form for each child who is eligible for preschool in your household.

Eligibility

Eligible students must be 3 years of age by October. 1, 2022. Any child who will be 5 years old on or before October 1, 2022 is eligible for Kindergarten and should follow Kindergarten Registration directions on the district website.

Selection Process:

A lottery process will be held on December 21st to randomly select the students who will participate in the program. A number will be assigned to each applicant. When the number of students needed to fill the available preschool spots is reached, applications will continue to be assigned a number and this group of students will be the basis of the Boonton 2022-2023 preschool waiting list. If a student drops out or declines a placement and a vacancy occurs, we will go to the the next number on the wait list and that student's parents will be contacted. The wait list will remain active and will be utilized throughout the year. Parents of the selected students will be notified by email the week after the lottery.

If your child is currently enrolled as 3 year old in our preschool program, you do not need to complete the lottery form.
