Last year, Ockham participated in Create Tomorrow 2023 with members from the 4TU (4 Technical Universities of the Netherlands, namely: the UT, Delft, TU/e, and Wageningen). One team - Razor Thinkers - won their case regarding sustainability in education at the UT, and received an opportunity to visit the Digital Demo Days in Düsseldorf, Germany, all expense paid. It was a great opportunity to think about problems beyond the study and beyond the Honours track, take a peek into recent developments in the digital world, and showcase the #Honours mindset and ambition in the best way possible!
This year, you will have the same opportunity. Once again in collaboration with the 4TU, you may participate as one of the 19 students from the UT in the Creathon, organised by a faculty member from Advanced Technology. This year, it has a theme of "Clean Energy for Everyone!", wherein you will be working on cases related to sustainable energy solutions. The 4TU Creathon will consist of two days in May:
- On the 6th of May, you will have the opportunity to participate in workshops at the UT with students from the other three technical universities in the Netherlands. It will be full of skill development, fun, and learning!
- On the 7th of May, the actual Creathon will be held at a location in Hengelo. You will be assigned a case, and you will spend the whole day with your team brainstorming, ideating, and presenting your pitch to a panel of judges.

here. Please also note that you will have to be an Ockham member to participate fully (and for free) in this activity. There is a section in the form already dedicated to this, so no need to worry.
This activity is also free for Honours/Ockham students - breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
