Community Groups meet during the week around Thousand Oaks to live out the way of Jesus together. We strive for in our Community Groups what every soul was made for; to belong, to be known, and to be loved. It becomes a family of disciples, sent to make disciples in the everyday stuff of life and learning to follow Jesus in a way that renews the city. It is not something you check off a list, but a way of doing life. Most groups meet weekly and have bible studies, times of prayer, meals, and lot of fun. Every group will take on the personality of the people who are a part of it.
The point of these questions are not to find a label for you, but to understand your needs and desires. We want this to be a relational process because community groups are all about relationships. With 20 groups, there are likely a few that could work with whatever shape your life looks like right now.
