SHARE Omaha is gathering information about nonprofit need for used items and desire to be beneficiaries of item collection drives. Our first goal is to have a central location for the public to discover which nonprofits accept certain used items, making the donation of used items easier for the giver and the receiving nonprofit. We also hope to reduce the amount of unwanted items received by some nonprofits! Secondly, we will promote item collection drive ideas for schools/businesses/organizations to easily organize a drive that fits their passions but also delivers items that the chosen nonprofit actually needs.
