Job Title: Painter/Finisher
Job Status: Contract
Pay Range: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Location: Northwest Arkansas

Job Summary
At Blue Indigo we strive to provide a personal experience for each of our clientele, conducting our services as if the project was our own. Therefore, we are looking to hire ambitious and eager individuals to join our growing company. As a Blue Indigo Painter/Finisher you will be expected to have basic knowledge in painting and finishing techniques.
Functions/Responsibilities
PAINTER/FINISHER
- Tape and prepare surfaces
- Cleaning
- Patching and preparing walls by mudding and texture matching.
- Caulking
- Cutting in and rolling- minimizing lines
- Paint Spraying (exterior or interior)
- Prepare walls by removing light plates, items hanging on the walls etc.
- Powerwashing
- Familiar with paint equipment (i.e. brushes, sprayers, paints).

- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good color vision and aesthetic instincts.
- Culture alignment (coming to work with a good attitude, prepared and focused).
- Arrive presentable (clean uniform, good hygiene).
- Courtesy to others while performing job duties (i.e. not blaring music, using profanity or inappropriate language).
- NO- smoking, drinking alcohol or being under the influence of any non-prescribed drugs.
- Cell Phone Use- cell phones can be used in the case of an emergency or during designated breaks but are not acceptable to be used during the course of working hours.
- Must have own form of communication and transportation
- Must be able to use a ladder
