Otherworld is a participation driven event. It literally can't exist without your help. Everyone is volunteering for something. In 2022, some 850+ people had volunteer hours to record, which means almost every person was part of making Otherworld happen - either on production or making art and theme camps run.

An easy way to volunteer (and secure your directed ticket, and make new friends) is to volunteer for a couple of hours taking on a shift on one of the major teams.

Leave No Trace - LNT (pre-event & during)

[HELP NEEDED] Gate (Checking Tickets and validating entry)

[FULL] Greeters (Welcoming people to Otherworld)

Centre Camp & Volunteer Tent (Hang out in center camp, help lost and found, provide volunteer info)

[FULL] Ice Sales (Sell ice at cost to keep people's coolers stocked. Make nIce puns.)

[FULL] Sanctuary (Assist in a chill space those who for one reason or another may be having difficult experiences at our events.)

[HELP NEEDED] Rangers (Requires training; the Ranger Lead will contact you)

[HELP NEEDED] Fire Perimeter (one shift on either effigy or temple burn protecting the line)

[FULL] Harm Reduction (staff a table of free supplies (like condoms, earplugs, sunscreen, etc), and chat with folks about safer ways to engage with substance, support drug crew)

Transport and driving (getting stuff up to the site or driving the uhaul pre-event)
