The Mental Health Safe Project addresses inappropriate published guidance about mental illness and collects resources to help people living with mental health conditions address everyday discrimination.  

MH Safe has successfully worked to get law schools, professional associations, and industry websites to make changes to instructional material teaching professionals to treat people with mental illness as if they are more violent, to invade their privacy, and to otherwise provide them disparate treatment.  

If you have seen printed material that you think is problematic, containing mental illness microaggressions or discriminatory content, please let us know.  Your submission can be anonymous or you can include your e-mail address if you'd like to be updated and included in our efforts to get the material updated or removed.
