वाचन प्रेरणा दिनाच्या दिना निमित्त शुभेच्छा .
माजी राष्ट्रपती डॉ. एपीजे. अब्दुल कलाम यांना आदरांजली म्हणून 15 आक्टोबर हा दिवस 'वाचन प्रेरणा दिवस' म्हणून साजरा केला जातो. मुलांना वाचनामध्ये गोडी निर्माण व्हावी, वाचनाचे महत्त्व समजावे, शाळा महाविद्यालयांत विद्यार्थ्यांना अवांतर वाचनाची गोडी लागावी, ती निर्माण व्हावी हाच वाचक प्रेरणा दिनाचा उद्देश आहे. अभ्यास एक अभ्यास न राहाता अवांतर वाचनही आवश्यक आहे. त्याचे अनेक फायदेही आहेत. अवांतर वाचनाने अनेक संदर्भ मिळतात.आकलनशक्ती वाढते. व्यक्तिगत विकास होतो.
