FAQs 2 — 1Voice
The volunteer role typically involves working alongside other trustees/volunteers to help support the young people in being able to access the activities.
As a volunteer you will be required to have a 1Voice DBS. This will be arranged for you free of charge.
If you are interested in volunteering for part of the weekend, or for the whole weekend, we would love to have you. It would be really useful if you could complete the registration form below so that we can make sure we reserve suitable accommodation, if required. There is no charge for volunteers and we are able to cover travel costs, if agreed in advance.
We are staying at a specialist residential college so the accommodation is fairly basic. In a change to accommodation offered by the college in previous years, many of the rooms this year are multi-occupancy. These include additional pull-out beds in the rooms. If you can share with others, that would helpful and would allow us to maximise the number of people who can attend the event this year. However, we will be able to allocate an individual bedroom if required.
