Fantastic job! The moral of this story is to treat other’s the way you want to be treated. In this story, the king represents Jesus who has forgiven us for far more than we could ever imagine. Yet we are so slow to forgive others when they do us wrong. Through this parable, Jesus reminds us that because He has forgiven our sins, we are to do the same to those around us and need to consistently exhibit an attitude of forgiveness.
LEARNING ABOUT THE TEN COMMANDMENTS: You have already covered half of the Ten Commandments in our first three lessons. Today we will continue our learning journey with the 6th and 7th Commandments. Turn to pages 10 and 11 in your "Learning About the Commandments" booklet and read "You shall not commit adultery" and "You shall not steal" then answer the questions below.

Great job! The 6th Commandment invites us to look at our relationships and ask ourselves if we are faithful to others? Do we consider what is best for them? Do we respect their needs and feelings? You want to be honest in your relationships and not "fake." The 7th Commandment forbids theft, which is taking for ourselves what does not belong to us. This commandment urges us to respect others by respecting what belongs to them and not to us. Be sure to look over the questions in the "I examine my conscience section" to see how you may not be keeping these commandments and how you might do better.  Then look for your 6th and 7th Commandment stickers and place them in the appropriate circles.
Super great job!  I want you to remember that "Reconciliation is a Celebration." It is a celebration of God's power to make all things new for us!! We will continue to learn more about this celebration as we continue our lessons!
