Fridays After 5: We are looking for fun volunteers to help us park bikes and serve drinks to raise funds for bike groups in our community. Volunteers will help out at the bike valet and pour drinks at the beer tent. We will support a different bike-related organization each week. 

You will need to show up by 5pm and be able to stay till 9pm.

May 5th Family Bike Day:  The annual Family Bike Day at IX is BACK! We will have a balance bike course and traffic garden for kids, as well as a bike safety check station for the whole family but we need some help.

May 8th Bike, Walk, and Roll to School Day: Are you available to support a welcome table at a local school to celebrate students, families, crossing guards, and walking bus leaders as they bike, walk, and roll to school? Shifts run 7:30am - 8:15am for elementary schools, with later times available for Buford and CHS. Tasks include high-fiving, handing out treats, and celebrating human-powered getting to school.

E-bike demos: Want to help others test ride e-bikes? We're planning demos at a number of local schools in May and need volunteer e-bike riders to help answer questions and allow prospective riders to test ride their bikes. 

Please indicate the date you can volunteer and if you have an e-bike you are willing to let others try out.

Afterschool bike rides: We are going to lead bike rides on the Rivanna Trail after school (2:30 - 4:30 pm) at Burnley-Moran Elementary (Tuesdays) and Greenbrier Elementary (Thursdays).
