L'Arsene's Ledger BETA Feedback
Hello! Thanks for playtesting L'Arsene's Ledger of Treasure and Trinkets!

This is the place to tell us what you think, so that we can, as a community, make these items, subclasses, familiars, and especially the crafting workshop bloody brilliant.

The feedback form is divided into chapters, so you can break down any feedback you might have. There is a section at the end for general feedback. You don't need to have a response for every chapter and you can submit this form multiple times. Here's how you can make your feedback effective:

Feedback Content
Here's some ideas about what we want to know about:
  • Typos / mistakes (Did we write 'teh' instead of 'the'? Did we say a creature with 14 Wisdom has a +1 modifier?)
  • Item balance (Is there a way something could be abused? Did one party member totally outperform all the others with one of our items?)
  • Clarity (Does anything confuse you?)
  • Quality of life improvements (How could we make the book/PDF better? Put this bit in the last section of this survey 'General Feedback')
Location
We need to know where in the book you're talking about, this is especially true for typos. To help with this, please tell us: the page number (as it appears on the page), the section (whatever the last title was, e.g. 'Sunsplitter'), and the paragraph (e.g. 'Rare variant'). Imagine you need to explain it to us like we're 5 years old.

Experience vs Conjecture
We've put a lot of thought and calculations into all of this. Saying something "seems strong" is not useful. Saying "The player with sunsplitter (rare variant) consistently outdamaged everyone else" is much better. Giving context, like "The character with sunsplitter was a monk (which typically don't have a high damage output), and the others were a rogue, paladin, and wizard, each of whome had a legendary item." is even better. If the other players were that strong and the monk with sunsplitter outdamaged them, then we got something wrong!

Language
This is written in British English. We use the word 'armour' etc. But when we're referring to, for example, an animated armor construct, we use the original WotC spelling. Give things a quick google if you think we're using a word wrong but you're not sure.
