Breakin' Convention are offering 16-20 young people the opportunity to come together to develop, create and star in your own live theatre piece over the course of 10 weeks. It is important to note that the workshops will include scriptwriting, acting, dance/movement and rap. It is important you are open minded to all parts of the art forms.
This is for artists and performers of all abilities, aged between 14-21 in the London region, and you must be able to commit to all of the project as you are creating a GROUP piece that will need rehearsals and a performance. You will be working with two professional artist mentors.
This opportunity is free.
Important information:
• This will take place in East London, Langdon Park area.
• The project starts Monday 22 January 2023. It will then be weekly between 6-8pm, until March 25. You have to commit to ALL sessions.
• Details will be sent once you are successful.
• This is a in-person project.
• All safeguarding will be in place.
• A final performance will take place (dates to be confirmed).
