Q9. I have deliberately made FemScale scores easily convertible to the original FPS-2 (Henley et al., 1998) which it is based on. Should we keep doing this? Or, do you think it is better to update and improve FemScale to reflect more modern and contemporary feminist ideas and values? FPS-2 is (well, at least "was" in 1998) somewhat reliable, and there are quite a few reports and papers that are based on FPS-2. We also can't do controlled tests like Henley. But the Scale hasn't aged too well to say the least.
