About Our Youth Mentor Program
We're looking for youth mentors ages 13-17 who are interested in working with children and being in nature;
eager to learn more about the natural environment, leadership; and excited to be part of a team that inspires play and creativity.

 Mentor expectations:
  • Work as part of a team by assisting staff and being an active and positive role model in our community.

  • Collaborate with lead teachers to identify individual goals and develop these into their Personal Learning Action (PLA) Plan. PLA Plans may include: Leadership and practical skills for running camps, such as leading large group games, songs and stories, starting fires in our fire circle, or facilitating/setting up an experience of your own, etc.

  • Make a commitment to at least one full week of programming (Monday- Friday 8:15-3:45) in addition to the pre-camp training (3-4 hrs. Mid-June. Date TBD)

We use this form to see how our program might best fit your needs, as well as see what skills you might be able to bring to our community. We look forward to reading your responses!
