Hybrid Learning: Students attend school in-person a few days a week with smaller class sizes. The remaining days, students will engage in remote learning from home to complete assignments/lessons. Potentially, half the students at a school would be on campus at one time with increased safety guidelines and health protocols such as mandatory face coverings, hand washing/hand sanitizer protocol pre/post classes, modified pickup and drop off (ie. parents/guardians do not enter the campus, drop off at the curb where teachers pickup students), no large gatherings, etc. Parents/guardians would need to provide a learning space at home and support students with learning activities when students are not in school. Teachers would set aside time each week for office hours, to allow student check-in. Time would also be reserved regularly for teacher professional development and collaboration.
