RYC Coffee Chat Program- College Students
Remember the excitement and jitters you had during your freshman year? Remember how it felt when you saw someone on your new campus who was from Rye? The new Rye Youth Council Coffee Chat Program aims to connect incoming college freshman from Rye to upperclassman like you to provide mentorship and ease the college transition process.  We're hoping you will participate.

Every first year student experiences some discomfort transitioning to college life -- and we know being able to connect with an upperclassman from home can help throughout their freshman year.  That's where you come in!

Students like you will be introduced to incoming Rye freshmen, either before school begins or on campus (in person, through email, phone call, Skype, etc).  You would talk with them for approximately 30 minutes to an hour to answer their questions, discuss the transition from high school to college, and share advice.

If you have already connected to an incoming college freshman- great! Please fill out the form and we would love to have you connect with another incoming college freshman and continue to be a college mentor in the future!

Ready to talk to a Rye freshman? Submit the form below. We'll introduce you both through email and the rest is up to you. Thank you and happy connecting!
