Thank you for your interest in becoming an Altar Server here at Our Lady of Fatima parish. Altar Servers are important members of any parish because they are called to assist the priest in the celebration of Mass and other Sacraments. Good Servers, by their behaviour and actions - both individually and as part of a team, help focus the people’s attention on the altar upon which, during Mass, Christ becomes present amongst us. It is a great honour and privilege as a Server to be so close to Christ during Mass.

Those who are accepted for the ministry of Altar Server are asked to serve regularly with reverence and understanding. As a server you will help the priest to lead the community in its prayer and praise of God. We hope that this will also be a way for you to deepen your own love of God, the Mass and the Church.
