Restaurant Criteria
Eligibility requirements for small restaurants include:
- Must have 75 employees or less
- Must be located in a commercial property located in the City of Santa Clarita or within unincorporated areas
- Pledges to take the Safer Business Commitment to follow the latest safety guidelines and best practices, as issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to continue slowing the spread of COVID-19
- Restaurants that do not meet the criteria may be included on the Safer Business Page on VisitSantaClarita.com.

1. Who is eligible to apply for Foodie Friday?
a. Locally-owned businesses in Santa Clarita, both located within the City of Santa Clarita as well as unincorporated areas of Santa Clarita with 75 or fewer employees with no outstanding code violations, and pledge to take the Safer Business Commitment are eligible to apply. Non-profit organizations are ineligible to apply.
2. What do I need to submit to be included in the Foodie Friday event?
a. A completed application form is needed to confirm eligibility to be included in the Foodie Friday event.
3. If selected, what is required of my restaurant to qualify for the Foodie Friday event?
a. Locally-owned restaurants are required to hand-out bingo sheets to patrons and stamp/sticker their bingo sheets at the time of placing their order. Participating restaurants are required to display signage on their storefront. Foodie Friday Bingo sheets, stamps/stickers, and signage will provided by City event organizers.
4. If selected, what can I expect to benefit from the Foodie Friday event?
a. Participating locally-owned restaurants will benefit from marketing exposure related to the Foodie Friday event on City of Santa Clarita social media platforms. Participating restaurants may be featured in a filmed segment.
5. How do I know if my business is within the City of Santa Clarita or in unincorporated areas?
