Due to the limited number of General Education (GE) classes taught in English, IBDPE international students are eligible to take up to 6 credits from the English-taught classes in the Natural and Engineering Sciences area for GE. These classes can be taught by the GE Department or can be electives taught in English in other departments and be transferred into GE. If they are electives taught in English, then you must complete this approval as well as submitting your transfer request to the GE Department.
Note: Taiwanese IBDPE students must NOT take any class in the Natural and Engineering Sciences area for GE.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?
1) Identify English-taught GE classes that you may want to take next semester in the Natural and Engineering Sciences area (http://cge.ncku.edu.tw/var/file/7/1007/img/2444/917834548.pdf)
2) Add the class name and serial number (from the NCKU catalog http://course-query.acad.ncku.edu.tw/qry/index.php?lang=en) to this list.
3) If you have selected an elective taught in English from another department, you will also need to submit a transfer request to the GE Department. (See the GE website for deadlines http://cge.ncku.edu.tw/?Lang=en)
4) This form will be submitted to the Chairman for his signature by Mr. Jen, IBDPE Administrator.
