During remote instruction this year, each child will need a laptop or tablet/ipad and access to the internet to participate in digital learning. If your child already has a laptop/tablet issued by Lexington City Schools during the spring or in summer school, they will not receive another one. If you are able to provide a laptop/tablet for your child, please do not request one as LCS laptops/tablets are limited, and we are reserving them for students who do not have one available.

If you are requesting a laptop/tablet for your child, you must complete this form and include the name of every LCS student in your household who will need a device, including those who are enrolled in Lexington Virtual Academy. There is also a section to request a hotspot for internet access in the home. These are also very limited.

IMPORTANT:  YOUR DEVICE WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY, AFTER 10:00 A.M. FOLLOWING YOUR APPLICATION REQUEST. YOU WILL NOT BE CALLED TO SCHEDULE A PICKUP TIME FOR YOUR REQUESTED DEVICE UNLESS ONE IS NOT AVAILABLE.
