Thank you for taking the time to participate in our survey of socially engaged arts organisations and practitioners across the UK.

The purpose of the survey is to gather information about how community, participatory and socially engaged arts organisations and freelance practitioners have responded to the Covid-19 crisis, what they expect the impact of the crisis will be on their work and what kinds of initiatives they think would help strengthen their work in the next two years.

This survey has three sections: One is for small arts organisations, one is for individual arts practitioners (you work as a sole trader) and one is for all other kinds of organisations/individuals who support participatory arts practice(for example, for academics or non-arts organisations, students, volunteers, individuals who work in the community, voluntary or private sector).  You may need to fill in more than one section – for example, if you work for some of the time in a small arts organisation and some of the time as a freelancer.

All findings will be anonymised. Names and contact details will not be shared; if we wish to attribute something you have said to you, we will ask your permission to do so.

The information gathered will then be used to inform meetings with Arts Council England and other funders. We hope to publish a short summary of key findings on www.artschain.co.uk, and will be in touch when we have done so.
