STEM (STEAM) for the Non-STEM (STEAM) Content Area Teacher
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education is more than just the subjects that make it up its name.  It allows students to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills and an opportunity to hone 21st Century Skills like collaboration, communication, and creativity.  But not every teacher feels equipped to bring STEM activities into their classroom.  During this session, we will get hands on as I share with you fun ways to infuse STEM into your classroom in every subject area!  See how STEM activities can increase engagement and prepare students for the future as they apply their knowledge to real world challenges and share authentic learning experiences as a learning community.  This training will be held at the ROE #3 Professional Development Center on June 29, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. The cost to attend this training is $40/person and each participant will receive 3.0 PD hours.
