The ride is taking place on July 14. Check-in will open at 11am, and we expect to start riding around 11:30am. Parking will be in the University of Rochester Zone 3 Lot:

We'll be leaving from a point near the parking lot at the Roundhouse Pavilion in Genesee Valley Park:

This is a casual, no-drop ride. This means that we'll keep a pace that allows everyone to keep up. There will be ride leaders at the front and back of the group to make sure we don't lose anyone.

The planned route will consist of two sections:

1) From Genesee Valley Park along the Canalway Trail to Clinton Ave and back - 5mi

This section is fairly straight and wide with only a couple of low hills. After this section is complete, riders can optionally finish their ride at Genesee Valley Park or continue on to the second section.

2) From Genesee Valley Park along the Genesee Riverway Trail to Court Street and back - 6.3mi

This section is a little narrower and has a few more turns and hills.

We will be sticking to trails throughout both sections and will not be riding on any streets.

Note that this is a preliminary route, and the actual route may change based on conditions (construction, trail conditions, etc) but we will not be riding on any roads regardless of how the route turns out.
