The ROCK's goals are to educate, promote, and participate in outdoor recreation. In order to accomplish these goals, we have decided to create a Richmond Outdoors Community- an informal group that brings together like minded individuals who can also help educate each other. We also want to promote local businesses that sell equipment and supplies that can be used for outdoor recreation or offer recreation opportunities.

This group strives to provide educational opportunities that not only help ensure safety but expand the knowledge of outdoor recreation.  We are working to promote local businesses that support outdoor recreation, already existing outdoor based recreational activities and working to create new opportunities for our community.
