Folklore Festival gives credits to its volunteers for its great success. We're always looking for mature and enthusiastic volunteers before, after and during the Festival. It's not only an excellent way to meet new people, but you're also participating in helping your community to promote its culture and diversity.

To be eligible, individuals must be aged
14 or above.Please note that while we strive to accommodate all requests, limitations within certain committees may preclude approval for some roles.
Meals will be provided for all volunteers, with shifts of 4 hours.
For high school students seeking to fulfill community service requirements, please ensure your school name is included in the appropriate section of the registration form. Alternatively, volunteer hours can be submitted for online approval to nicolec@thunderbay.org
Clothing and General Appearance: We kindly request that volunteers maintain a standard of dress and appearance befitting the ethos of Folklore Festival. While traditional attire and t-shirts are welcomed, we ask that tank tops, spaghetti straps, or halter tops be avoided. Additionally, pants, jeans, or skirts and dresses of a minimum knee length are considered appropriate. You will be sent home during volunteer check-in if you do not meet these standards!
