DLeNM’s second in our Back-to-School institutes are designed to assist you in successfully launching your new school year! Join us for these interactive, virtual sessions and leave more prepared to meet the academic needs of your students as we embrace the opportunities and excitement of this upcoming year.

Pricing - $134        

We are offering special pricing to those educators who are paying for this training without school funding at $94.  Please complete the registration below. If you are personally paying, you will be sent an invoice for the training which you can pay for directly with a credit card or check.

School or district-sponsored registrations should also use this form. An invoice will be sent to the billing contact to pay for the registration(s).

Focus on Acceleration:
Effective Math Instruction for
the Upcoming Year
 
How do you use your math program materials and elevate students’ critical thinking and conceptual understanding while teaching grade-level standards and addressing gaps? Research supports using strategies that will accelerate students’ learning rather than using remediation. Join us for this two-part institute that will teach you how to make simple shifts with your program mathematics materials that will elevate students’ critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.

Maximizing Students’ Language Proficiency Gains Through Goal Setting with Students
 
This institute will give you a foundation in WIDA’s 2020 English Language Development Standards. You will learn how to disaggregate your students' ACCESS scores in a manageable way. We will then look at how to group students and set language goals with students in the four domains: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Come learn how to move students in their language proficiency and select explicit strategies to support this growth. This is applicable for K-12 teachers across all content areas.
