Register for 2023 ADVANCEGeo Graduate Student Training Virtual Workshops
CSU COAST is partnering with ADVANCEGeo to provide a series of online workshops for CSU graduate students in Spring 2023. These trainings will center around transforming workplace climate in STEM with an emphasis on marine and coastal-related fields. Students will learn how to appropriately respond to and prevent harassment, bullying and other exclusionary behaviors in research environments. 

All workshops will begin at 10:00 am Pacific time and occur on the following Fridays in 2023:  
  • March 3: Implicit Bias
  • March 10: Active Bystander Intervention
  • March 17: Safety in the Field
  • April 14: Code of Conduct I: Best Practices (it is highly recommended that you attend this workshop if you plan to attend Code of Conduct II on April 21)
  • April 21: Code of Conduct II: Develop your Own Code
These workshops will NOT be recorded.
