Invoices must be paid in full before any work is started.
There are no refunds once I start a commission. If you think there is a possibility that you might need money for any other reason, please do not commission me.
I keep track of my progress on Trello. You will get a link to keep track of any WIPS I send to you via e-mail.
- For sketch commissions, you will get updates before the piece is done to completion - one very rough (initial) sketch, and a refined version that includes all details to be added.
- For flat color commissions, you will get updates before the piece is done to completion - one very rough (initial) sketch, refined version that includes all details to be added, ink, and flat color last.
Please make any requests for pose and body change types during the first (initial) sketch only, and for any missing details during the second sketch. Once the piece is finished, only minor edits will be done free of charge (color changes, small missing details). Otherwise, extra fees will be charged.
I will do revisions at the end if a mistake is my fault, but once the second sketch is approved no major edits will be done. Please make sure to address any concerns you may have during the sketch phase. Better to tell me something I might already know than to have a large revision in the final piece.
You, the client, can re-post your commission: it is your personal, private use (such as icons, profile images, forum signatures, additions to personal galleries, printouts for yourself). Limited alterations of the artwork, such as cropping or adding text, are permitted as long as it's for your own personal use. Do NOT edit out my signature when sharing to personal galleries or printing it.
Your character is always yours, but since these are private commissions, you have no commercial rights to the artwork itself and thus cannot legally use it to make money. I retain the rights to the image. Do NOT repurpose the art for logos or any other commercial advertisement.
Commissions will be posted publicly on social media with watermark/signature.
Clients DO NOT have the right to mint/sell their commissions for NFT/AI!
Nothing made by me, DragonFoxStar of DragonFoxStar Designs, may be used in any blockchain-related technology. This includes NFTs, cryptocurrency, AI, or any future inventions in that space (Meta for example).
