Waverley Tennis are hosting the 33rd Daphne Fancutt Shield Junior Tennis Carnival.
The scheduled dates for the event are Saturday, 13 January Sunday, 14 January 2024.
AO23 runs from 14 January thru' 28 January 2024. Note that the AO next year will start on Sunday January 14th - clashing with this event.
The event will be held @ the Robinson Reserve Tennis Centre in Frawley Road, Doveton (Melway Ref. 91 A10).

A fully qualified Sports Trainer will be engaged to be in attendance during both days of the Carnival.
Players selected in team will be required to arrive at the Robinson Reserve Tennis Centre by 8.00am on the Saturday morning for the Opening Ceremony and team photos, and then be prepared to play shortly thereafter.
TEAM & COMPETITION FORMAT & AGE GROUPS:
Each team shall consist of ten (10) players; five (5) boys and five (5) girls, the ages being:-
- One (1) boy and one (1) girl - 18 years and under
- Two (2) boys and two (2) girls - 16 years and under
- Two (2) boys and two (2) girls - 14 years and under
- The Age Groupings are determined as the ages of the players as at 31 January 2024.
The proposed format will be that of a Round Robin, with all teams to play each other during the Carnival in singles and doubles. The doubles will be mixed doubles.
**Both expected to be a one set format with tie break at 6-6.
**Results will be uploaded to UTR for singles matches.
A full canteen service will be in operation at the Robinson Reserve Tennis Centre throughout the duration of the Carnival. All participating players, team managers and spectators will be encouraged to purchase from the canteen service offered.
