Male Roles

I am interested in the following role(s):

Jack Manningham (35 - 45): Handsome and gentlemanly on first appearance, he is suave and authoritative, and able to charm both his wife and the audience alike. He has a mysterious and perhaps regrettable past.

Rough (40s - 50s): A former police detective with an overbearingly friendly demeanor, he is warm, proud and larger than life. Sometimes the comical relief in an otherwise dark atmosphere.

Female Roles

I am interested in the following role(s):

Bella Manningham (30s - 40s): Slightly younger than Jack, and previously naturally beautiful, she is now worn down by years of a bad marriage - anxious, frightened, tired and often confused, sometimes hysterical.

Nancy (20s - 30s): A precocious, pretty and flirtatious maid, she is confident and attracted to Jack’s charm.

I have checked all rehearsal dates and will provide any potential clashes to the director at the audition

All persons involved in this production will be required to provide evidence of full COVID-19 vaccinations or medical exemption from vaccination.

If you are cast for a role, you will need to become a financial member of Growl Theatre which is $30 per calendar year.
