What are ✨ Design for Feelings ✨ & 🌀 Design for Spacetime 🌀?
These are live (mostly virtual, sometimes chaotically and sporadically in-person) workshops.

🌘 What to expect: Slow time, no urgency, and no pressure to make anything good or finished. Space for soft conversations.

~~~✨ Design for Feelings: Building a Synesthetic Thesaurus and an Emotional Vocabulary ✨
💕  Four main goals for us, in each moment, and over time:
1. To build our muscles around noticing emotions.
2. To expand our modalities of expression and understanding.
3. To grow a nuanced understanding of the specific emotions we want to inspire.
4. To be together. To take slowtime to simply exist in relationship, with ourselves and one another.
Each session we will choose a feeling. We'll spend some time going in search of things that make us feel that way, across mediums. Then we'll come together to unpack and explore the nuance of that emotion. Each session will leave us all with a library of insight, artifacts, experiences, and tastes, to draw on for the future.
~~~🌀 Design for Spacetime: Building a Temporal Atlas of the relationships between space, time, and human experience 🌀

🪐  Each session we will choose one of the following:

• A tool: ways we have of manipulating and shaping spacetime

• An architecture or topography: to examine the way space affects time

• A temporal expression or speed: to explore the experience of time affecting space

And we’ll feel around it. Poke its edges, stretch its ligaments, meander its landscapes. This is not about synthesis. Convergence. Finding a unifying theory of spacetime. It is about exploring the complexity and interrelationships – the subjectivity and beauty and nuance of how we experience this world.
