Life on Board a Sailing Vessel

The successful running of a boat requires teamwork and commitment in all areas. Operating the boat, cooking, cleaning and contributing to the amicable atmosphere is not a one-person job.  It’s everyone’s responsibility.  As a result, each crewmember will be assigned different tasks on a shift pattern basis by the skipper. You must be willing to share the boat and a cabin with people that don’t necessarily share your own religious or political convictions. Living on a boat requires patience and generosity towards others. We do not tolerate anti-social behaviour. For safety reasons excessive drinking of alcohol will not be allowed.

I further release Sailing Sclerosis, Oceans of Hope UK, the boat owners and The Event Organiser from any claim whatsoever on account of any of their staff/crew/or any other participant giving assistance, aid, care, advice, rescue, first aid, treatment or services.
