Confirmation Class 2023-24
Confirmation Class at Greenfield Hill Church, designed for our 8th graders, helps our kids to understand the meaning of church membership, and prepares them to make their confirmation of Christian faith on the first Sunday in May. Please note the following requirements, and please contact Alida if any of those poses a challenge for your family:

1- Attendance at Monday night classes (6:30 to 7:30 in the Len Morgan Youth Barn). These include five 'Mentor Nights', when Confirmation Mentors will participate in the class with their mentees. Please note that we are asking you to choose from two schedules for your child, in order for us to keep class size optimal for teaching.   You can click here to review schedules for Group 1/Group 2!   

2- Submission of at least four "worship reports" over the course of the year (reflections on a worship service that your child attended). These can be found on the Confirmation page of our website. 

3 - Participation in leading the Sunrise (7 a.m.) service on Easter (for all who are able)

Lastly: Mentor Request for your child?
As part of the Confirmation process, each child will have a Confirmation Mentor: an adult in the church who will be asked to attend five of the classes over the course of the year, as well as participate in the May Confirmation Ceremony. Please let me know here if there is a particular adult that you would like me to ask to serve as your child's mentor!  If not, no worries! I will pair your child up with one of our many wonderful adult volunteers.
