Join us online to learn about the grassroots peacebuilding trauma healing, resilience, restorative justice, and racial healing and equity work of the Minnesota Peacebuilding Leadership Institute with Coming to the Table racial healing talking circles. MN Peacebuilding’s mission is to instigate, train, and support racially, sexually, culturally, ethnically, religiously, and economically diverse individuals and organizations to become trauma healing-informed, resilience-oriented, and restorative justice- focused, empowering communities in Minnesota, the USA, and around the world. We prepare individuals and organizations for truth-telling and repairing harm for healed, just, equitable relationships toward the possibility of reconciliation setting the stage for positive structural nonviolent change. Our vision is making Minnesota the peacebuilding
power state for all, and we welcome everyone from everywhere to join us to learn how to build just, racially equitable peace within their spheres of influence.


About the Presenters

Crixell Shell, MS, Assistant Executive Director of MN Peacebuilding and Local Coming to the Table (CTTT) Racial Healing Talking Circle Group Leader, is a cis-gender, African American woman with a professional legal and technology background.  She was in the first Minnesota STAR Training cohort in 2010 and since then, she has been an integral part of the development of the STAR Training and CTTT in Minnesota. Crixell is a Master Certified STAR Trainer and facilitates three CTTT gatherings a month. She lives in the Twin Cities with her
husband and son.

Donna Minter, PhD, Founder and Executive Director of Minnesota Peacebuilding Leadership Institute, is a European American cisgender woman. She is a licensed psychologist who has practiced clinical neuropsychology for over 25 years in outpatient and inpatient clinics and educational settings. For 19 years she has conducted court-ordered mental health evaluations and provided expert court testimony. She is a Master Certified Strategies for Trauma Awareness and Resilience (STAR) Trainer and administers, implements, and conducts trainings and racial and community healing talking circles in Minnesota, throughout the USA, and internationally virtually and in-person. Donna grew up in Goshen, IN and has lived in Minneapolis since 1995.
