GopherCon Europe - Lightning Talks
GopherCon Europe 2024a will take place at the Amalia Hotel in Athens, Greece on Feb 6-8 and we are now accepting lightning talk submissions.

The talks for GopherCon Europe have no specific theme or agenda, besides being related to the Go language, or generally interesting to a room full of Go programmers.

Successful talks tend to have a coherent narrative, be delivered by a passionate speaker, and leave the audience with concrete lessons to take back home to their friends and colleagues. Based on prior conferences, the audience will be a mix of Go beginners, intermediate users, and experts.

We’re looking for speakers from all levels of experience. First time speakers are very welcome!

Important Info:
- Deadline for lightning talk submissions: end of Friday Feb 02
- First round of invites will be issued on: Saturday Feb 03
- Lightning Talks will take place on the afternoon of Tuesday Feb 06
- If your lightning talk is accepted, we'll offer you a conference only pass (not covered: travel expenses, accommodation, workshop pass)
- Talk Duration is 5 mins
- All the talks are in-person only. We cannot accept virtual presentations or recordings.
- Please only apply if you already have or plan on buying a conference ticket and can cover your own travel and accommodation expenses.
