One Brick Boston is looking for someone to join our Executive Team as one half of the Events Team. Our Executive Team is composed of three teams and the Chapter Director.  Each member is also an Event Manager, so we get out into the field and lead events as well. We make One Brick Boston run and volunteering fun, commitment-free, and awesome.
 
The two-person Events Team cultivates and manages the relationship between One Brick Boston and nonprofit partners. They’re responsible for:
--Maintaining a good relationship with our current nonprofit partners
--Working with the nonprofits to understand their volunteer needs and to schedule volunteer events
--Maintaining and managing the One Brick calendar
--Seeking out new nonprofits and cultivating those relationships
--The individual we’re looking for will work together with our existing Events Team member to further build and maintain One Brick Boston's nonprofit partnerships, to plan and implement new volunteer events, and find creative ways for One Brick to work with Boston’s diverse nonprofit community.
 
Some of the skills and qualities we’re looking for are:
--Event planning experience
--Knowledge of nonprofits and community organizations in Greater Boston
--Ability to work closely as a member of a team
--Strong communication skills, flexibility in your schedule to communicate via email, phone, or occasionally in person with nonprofits
 
We’re looking for an enthusiastic person who is passionate about volunteering and excited to help One Brick Boston grow, to make a one year commitment for 1-4 hours of work per week!
