Hello! Welcome to The Other Side: Death Coaching with Chelsea Rushton. I’m so glad you’re here.

I trained as a Death Coach and Doula with Conscious Dying Institute and the Canadian Institute of Certified Executor Advisors. I am also a 500-hr Registered Yoga Teacher, and a practicing artist who focuses on the relationship between art and spirituality. My Death Coaching practice incorporates all of these credentials in five main branches of work, which I describe below.

I'm eager to learn about which of my services pique your interests, and I'm here to answer any questions you may have about end of life preparations and practices that feel important for you. 

My books are open, and my sliding scale rate for all services is CAD $50-100/hr. If you would like to work with me, you can be in touch either by filling out this form, or by scheduling a time to speak with me through my online calendar.

As a Conscious Dying Coach, I work with people at all stages of life to clarify what’s important for them. We set and fulfill priorities and goals in all areas of life, toward living the fullest life possible, and feeling as complete in life as possible, at the time of death. During a six-week series, clients and I work in the five areas of: practical affairs; physical care; emotions and relationships; spirituality; and life legacy. The series includes a final integration and continuation session. *
As an extension of my Conscious Dying Coach practice, I especially enjoy working with folks on life legacy projects. These could look any number of ways: an ethical will, a milestone timeline, a photo collage or scrapbook, a biography or book… I guide and facilitate clients’ creative visions on projects that can live on and be treasured by friends, family, community, and beyond. *
As a Death Doula, I sit in companionship with folks in the last months, weeks, and days of life. I offer practical information about the dying process, respite, emotional and spiritual support to clients and loved ones, before and after a death. I work with clients to co-create sacred spaces, altars, and rituals to honour grief and transitions to The Other Side. *
As a Certified Executor Advisor (CEA), I have an overview of all the professions that can be involved in estate planning and administration. I address high level questions and considerations in both the planning and administration of estates, connect clients with professionals in relevant fields who can assist with particular issues, and help to bridge the flow of knowledge and information between Testators and Executors. *Please note that while Canadian and US estate laws have similarities, they are not the same, and my scope of knowledge is within Canadian estate law. *
As a 500-hr Registered Yoga Teacher, I facilitate guided meditations that prepare folks at all stages of life for death through a practice of deep relaxation, cultivating self awareness, and accepting what is. *
