Our five-day summer camp includes cool, hands-on activities that help campers explore a wide range of STEM careers! The human body is a wonder of engineering, with physiological systems that are each designed to
provide us with specific functions that keep us healthy and operating with efficiency. Scientists and
engineers are continually working to understand human systems, while also designing ways to
intervene when parts of a system malfunction. Campers will have the opportunity to explore the
physiology of five human body systems and to utilize their discoveries through an engineering lens.
The instructional goal of our camps is a focus on inquiry-based exploration by our campers to solve
problems with multiple layers of complexity. We are excited for the variety of experiences we will be
able to offer our campers!
 
Grade Range:  This camp is for girls entering grades 3rd-8th grade in Fall 2024.

Location: SWIC Red Bud Campus (500 W South 4th St, Red Bud, IL 62278)
 
Dates: June 10-14, 2024 (9 am - 3 pm)
 
Fee: Registration fee this summer is $50.00*.

*For an additional fee ($10.00), we offer early drop off from 8 - 9  am and late pick up from 3 - 4 pm.

How to register your child:

Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Deadline is May 3, 2024 (or until max number is reached).

2. The registration fee is $50.00. If you are choosing to pay by cash or check, you will receive an invoice at the email address provided in the next few days. If you are choosing to pay with credit/debit card, then you will need to continue to the payment submission after you click submit. Registration will not be complete until payment is received.
