Greener Brockenhurst - is a local environmental group of like-minded people who aim to introduce different sustainable practices in the village. One of our initiatives is “Making space for nature” where we involve residents in the creation of wildlife friendly spots for native biodiversity.
We realise that many villagers already are aware of the biodiversity emergency and have tried different practices in their gardens. After communication with a number of residents, our Ukrainian colleague, Kateryna Kolosiuk, proposed to research the experiences of residents in the village and find out how our group can be more helpful. For this purpose she created the survey.
With the help of the results of the survey, we will be able to highlight good wildlife friendly practices, collect feedback from the residents about their experiences of wildlife gardening and offer help and support. After the answers are analysed we will provide tips and advice from New Forest National Park, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust and other organisations on how to enhance wildlife friendly practices. The fnal brochure will be available to the public on the Greener Brockenhurst website, partner websites and social media.
We would appreciate your time to answer the following questions and forward the survey to those people who may also be interested.
Please state your name and contact details here if you would like us to keep in touch with you (optional). Your personal details will not be shared. For more details please refer to our privacy policy http://bit.ly/3XEO5Zz
We plan to share the results in spring and would be most grateful if you could complete and return the survey by 20th of March.
