Here at COG, we offer a program called Divorce Care, designed to help those who are going through a difficult divorce or separation. Divorce is one of the most challenging experiences one can go through, and it can leave you feeling alone, overwhelmed, and at times unsure how to move forward. At COG, we understand the pain and difficulty that comes with divorce. Divorce Care is a program set up to offer a safe and supportive environment for those who are experiencing the aftermath of a divorce or separation. When attending this program, you will have opportunity to connect with others who are going through a similar experience and be able to share with people who understand what you are going through.
Divorce Care takes place weekly on Wednesdays at 7 pm at the house next to the church, 42 Hochelaga Street East, and is led by PJ Adkins who will guide the group through helpful topics and discussions. Also, you will be able to receive helpful tools and spiritual help as you start rebuilding your life. If you are going through or have already experienced a divorce or separation, we invite you to join Divorce care and discover a caring and supportive community to help you find hope, healing, and peace.
Registration is only $20, which helps cover the cost of the workbook, which is the newest edition. We are committed to maintain a nurturing, welcoming environment for all attendees and will keep any conversations confidential. The study is designed so that people can join in at any time throughout the 13-week program. No matter where you're at, there's a place for you!
