Interest Form: Shadowing Senator Ghazala Hashmi
Join Virginia State Senator Ghazala Hashmi for an all-day shadowing opportunity. Individuals interested in shadowing will have a unique opportunity to observe a typical day of a Virginia State Senator and gain a broader perspective of the work environment and responsibilities encountered in public service.

Opportunities vary day-to-day, but may include attending meetings with elected officials, state agencies, non-profits, and/or community organizations; attending community events; Q&A opportunities with Senator Hashmi and her staff; and more. 

This opportunity is open to current high school and college students, as well as interested community members. Priority will be given to constituents of Senator Hashmi. Opportunities are limited and dependent on the Senator's schedule. Completion of an interest form does not guarantee a shadowing opportunity with the Senator or her office.
