The Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival is an annual celebration of the region's blue, pink, and white signature flowers and everything gardens on Cape Cod!
This ten-day festival will be held July 5th-14th.
Whelden Memorial Library is one of the nonprofits participating in the Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival and we are looking for gardens!
Your garden doesn't have to have hydrangeas or fit a specific mold.
We welcome diverse, from all across the Cape not just West Barnstable, gardens, whether featuring prize-winning blooms, working farms, or local garden/agriculture-related businesses offering tours on their property.
Here's what you can expect:
- April: We'll touch base to discuss your preferred dates and times for showcasing your garden and ask any follow-up questions we need.
- Application Process: We manage the paperwork, cover participation fees, and ensure a smooth process.
- Docent Support: Should you wish, a knowledgeable volunteer will be present during the tours to showcase your garden.
